Let’s learn to Nightclub Two Step, It’s the next dance topic at the Ranch

Tues. November 17th
…its time to learn the ‘hot’ slow dance that’s getting constantly more popular across the country in Swing and Country Western Clubs and events. It can be used though in any setting to a vast majority of slow tempo music in 4/4 time. It’s easy to learn and much more fun and stylish than walking around in circles while you’re slow dancing. We will use the 4 weeks to cover all you need to learn for the basic fundamentals of this enjoyable slow dance. Read more ›

Personal Mini Lessons a Success!

Last weeks first Session of Personal Mini-Lessons went very well and it was great to have a chance to work with everybody one on one. A lot of important points were covered with everybody and I hope you all practice what we did.

The next PML Session will be on Dec. 15th and I am signing people up now. The 3 people who were unable to take one have spots locked up so there are only 6 spots left available for those interested. Read more ›

First Friday Funcoast Dance

First I’d like to thank everyone for staying with us last Friday night for our First Friday Floorplay Dance at the Moose. Sorry for having to skip the workshop and the thankfully short-term sound problems but we managed to get things together and work it out. Next month will be a special Holiday edition of our monthly dance and be held on Dec. 4th.

Wellington’s only Rock’n'Roll and Lindy Hop Swing dance pros are coming to Orlando. Join experienced instructors Joanna Matsis and Rodney Moore as they invite you to learn the finer points of Rock’n'Roll and Lindy Hop dancing.

With over 45 years combined dance experience Joanna and Rodney cater to all levels, ages, and abilities – in addition to weekly classes they also provide private coaching, competition training, preparation for medal tests and weddings, group workshops, and dance demonstrations.

Possible Classes before the Holidays

We’ve created a survey ‘breakdown’ of dance class possibilities for the next several weeks at the Rockin Ranch in Ormond. I would like to get your input as to what dances, material would be most requested during this time. Please take a moment to review the survey report back to us the option(s) you’d be interested in. It is to all of our benefit to have more dancers dancing better to more dances. Read more ›

First Friday Funcoast FloorPlay Dance
