Social ‘West Coast’ Swing Basics Session 1
t’s a very affordable, fun night out. You get 1 ½ hrs of learning each Tuesday over 6 weeks for only $35. You can dance another couple hours to a variety of great music after class. You get 2 drinks included with the $6. club door charge. You’re having fun and making new friends while getting some terrific mind & body exercise in a friendly atmosphere, with a great group of people all learning and enjoying arguably the best social activity you could ever be a part of. Let’s learn to Nightclub Two Step, It’s the next dance topic at the Ranch
…its time to learn the ‘hot’ slow dance that’s getting constantly more popular across the country in Swing and Country Western Clubs and events. It can be used though in any setting to a vast majority of slow tempo music in 4/4 time. It’s easy to learn and much more fun and stylish than walking around in circles while you’re slow dancing. We will use the 4 weeks to cover all you need to learn for the basic fundamentals of this enjoyable slow dance.
Open Dance Tuesday at the Ranch 11/10
I highly recommend trying this approach to add to learning your dancing. I think you’ll find it very beneficial and it’s an inexpensive way to target your needs and get you what you need to work on a little at a time. Of course it’s up to YOU to then use the info and practice.
Possible Classes before the Holidays
We’ve created a survey ‘breakdown’ of dance class possibilities for the next several weeks at the Rockin Ranch in Ormond. I would like to get your input as to what dances, material would be most requested during this time. Please take a moment to review the survey report back to us the option(s) you’d be interested in. It is to all of our benefit to have more dancers dancing better to more dances.
WCS Level 3 – Play & Breaks Final, Class Party – Tues. 11/3
This Tuesday November 3rd is Level 3 Complete Review week. We will review all of the material covered over these past 5 weeks. I expect to start on time so please arrive ready to go at 7:30. Lots to cover! THIS is the ultimate destination for WCS dancers to best enjoy all this great dance has to offer. Hopefully by the end of this session all of the general principles of the dance will at least be understood and allow everyone to begin to enjoy its endless possibilities.
